Tools found on the site included hammerstones, axe heads, flints and scrapers that are estimated to be between 60,000 and 100,000 years old. There is also a small museum on site.<br \/>\nThe town of Isimila is signposted off the Mbeya road to the left, about 21 km southwest of Iringa. Admission: 20,000 TZS (foreigners), 2,000 TZS (locals).
